I went over to my friend Chris Leach's place, to use his table and space for this phase. Together we painted white glue on all the edges, then Chris painted the edges brown.

Chris put white glue on the top and I spread sand.

The next step is to create piles of dirt around the shell holes and scattered around using coarse sand and glue.
Then paint the whole top with dark brown.

Thomas I am super pleased to see this project coming along. I hope to see it in person in May at Enfilade 2017.

Hi David, thanks for the encouragement.
Honestly, the issue was in doubt, as I had agreed some time ago to officiate a wedding last November but did not get any dates until 4 weeks ago. Turns out it is the Saturday morning of Enfilade. Our group has supported me in taking the terrain and figures down, so that right after the ceremony, I'll be driving down the 3 or so hours to put this game on Saturday evening. Well that's the plan anyway, barring any unforeseen problems.

So I shall hopefully see you there, albeit a tad later.

Thank you so much for the White Rock Gamers support of Enfilade. Your Borthers in Arms are certainly a blessing for their help. Please take care on the trip down. Looking forward to the Clubs presentation!
