I have a friend who spends about 5 months a year in Arizona and is hoping to find some gamers to engage in some friendly table top battles He is a very pleasant fellow and lives in the city of Eloy which is between Tucson & Phoenix. He games in all eras but especially likes the Colonial genre. He is up for some travel to attend games as well. You can contact me here and I will forward the information to him as he is not much of a computer tech. Thanks for your attention. Skip |

There are groups and hobby shops in both Tucson and Phoenix. There are Facebook groups for some of the Tucson groups. Here is the Tucson Skirmish Wargaming group: link From that you can cull the gaming shops in the Tucson area. I am reluctant to mention more because the lifespan of some groups and shops rival fruit flies in shortness. |

Have your friend email me or you can and I will provide better contact info. We are a small gaming group in Tucson. Lots of historicals. Be happy to run a Zulu game, and am working on an Anglo-Egyptian War scenario. awwatters@yahoo.com By the way, who the heck lives in Eloy? Since the Cade brothers played there in the late 1970s, Eloy has been off the map. (Google Mossy Cade) Eloy was once listed in Time magazine as the "toughest town in America." It had the highest murder rate per capita of any town in the country . . . |

Hi Triplecdad Interesting stats on Eloy. Really sounds like Clint Eastwood should ride in and clean up the town. All I know is that he lives 4-5 months a year in a pretty nice "Golf Course Community". Heads back to ILLinois around April. I will have him contact you. Thanks again for the contact info. |

You bet. There are actually a lot of nice golf retirement communities around that part of Arizona. |
