In an effort to bring a bit more focus to my painting and modeling hobby, I'm seriously considering starting my own 6mm sword and planet miniature and terrain line.

Initially I would like to start by remodeling some of my existing scratch built terrain and vehicles to make them fit for resin casting.

If I can get that off the ground I'd like to get some of my own miniatures cast starting with some alien races and then later some human adventurers.

A few pics to give you an idea

Wow, that last pic is really bad quality

What do you think guys would there be a market for this?

Cheers,
Stroezie.

If you can make it look like fun, there's a market for it.

That's some whimsical stuff! I especially love the flora.

Indeed, as above, if you make it look fun and have your own ruleset (or one you can piggyback on) then there'll be a market. How big of one is the question…

Super cool, very distinctive.

I'm sure there's people interested, but it'd be hard to gauge how many.

I'd be very tempted…

Making it look fun shouldn't be a problem ;-)

I woulnd't be looking to make a ton of money off of it.
Think of it more like a vanity project, something to help me stay focused. I just wouldn't want to go through all the trouble to find out absolutely nobody was interested.

As for rules to go with them, thats not really my forté.
But hey Weasel feel free man, if you make some rules I'll definately buy a copy :-))

I think there'd be an interest – a John Carter-type game in 6mm has been constantly raised in many fora I've been in – but more importantly, I'd love those Octopoid aliens myself :)

Stroezie – If you get something going, I'll do you up some traits and monster profiles for Starport Scum :-)

It looks really good and would be a great addition to the 6mm offerings.
