Hello,

looking for any photos of the Brunswick figures, what poses ? MBKN1 .

All skirmishing, like the British Rifles Skirmishing pack or the Voltigeurs skirmishing pack. For 1815, they can be used for the Lieb Battalion and Avant Garde (Austrian Jaeger making up the other half of the Avant Garde). There are nine strips of 5x figures skirmishing and one strip of command which has 3x officers and 3x buglers. They do not come with flags. For Brunswick Hussars I suggest French Hussars, for Uhlans I recommend Austrian Uhlans (an awesome pack). For artillery, you can go the easy route of Prussian artillery but I like the French Line Horse Artillerists better. For Regular line and light units I suggest Austrian infantry in shako (marching for line, advancing for light) or you can clip the plumes from MBKN1. For command I use a Prussian/Austrian officers.

Can post pics later after I return home from work.

Here is my good friend Jean-Marc's recommendation for Brunswick:

His website: link

Brunswick

Line Infantry : French MFN 14
Light infantry : Forget the MFN 1 French line grenadiers which could be the only equivalent long ago and paint the existing MBK 1 Brunswicker riflemen . Add MAN 3 : Austrian jaegers skirmishing.
Cavalry : Hussars are French Chasseurs à cheval MFN 6,
for Lancers use Prussians MPN 5 Prussian Uhlans
Artillery : French Horse artillery figures(MFN 25)and British guns

Here is a pic of my unbased Brunswick Line and Lieb battalions. The Brunswick rifles are on the top. The line units were painted from MAN13 Austrian Infantry Advancing in shako. I have more painted, these are to illustrate how I am tackling my Brunswick units.

Thanks for all the information and photos Rick, much appreciated.
Just recently found that Vendheaume site, lots of really good army suggestions and photos such as the Ottoman Turkish army.

Pete.
