Do the larger sized 15mm's (18mm) Seven Years War figures from Blue Moon (OldGlory25s) and Eureka mix well in the same units? Or, are they a mismatch? |

I have Eureka SYW infantry and some of the Blue Moon FIW infantry and they are fine together, although I do not put them in the same units. The cavalry however are a different story; the Eureka Figures are much bigger than the Blue Moon. I also have Old Glory 15mm SYW infantry, which I really like, and they are also compatible with Eureka and Blue Moon infantry. The OG 15 mm cavalry horses are, however, ridiculously small. I have put the riders on some Battle Honours horses, and they are better, but still dwarfed by Eureka |

I am nearly in unanimous agreement with steamingdave47. Like steamingdave47, I have several battalions of Blue Moon FIW Germans for SYW Prussians musketeers, fusiliers, grenadiers, and jaegers. Since the sculpting style and proportions are different between Eureka and Blue Moon, I would keep them in separate units. In separate units, Eureka SYW and Blue Moon infantry look fine on the table together. I do add Eureka mounted officers to Blue Moon infantry battalions and the mounted officer looks quite comfortable with the foot sloggers. Eureka cavalry are large and first rate sculpting. Blue Moon cavalry are smaller and a poor substitute. |
