Just finished a very fun and fast-paced game of Danish warriors throwing themselves against Saxon shieldwalls on a ridge. The result was in question during the entire game, but the rules gave a nice historical result. Full AAR with pics on the blog: link

looks like a good game. Well done post. I continue to like HC for dark age battles as well. though you start to hit a wall around how many times / different ways you can have a clash of shieldwalls. |
