I saw it in the flesh today and it was a stunning set up. Given the high standard of games at Vapnartak the fact this one stood out for me shows just how good it was. You're hard work certainly paid off. |

I really appreciate that thank you. |

Superb game, loved the shrine. Those battleboards really are excellent – reminds me unit cards are a great idea for most games as we tend to forget key details (age). |

Oh very cool game and figures! Quite the inspiration for me as I've started a project of this. Thanks for showing this! |

Thanks gents, we will be loading the battle boards and specific rules for Bronze Age onto the East Leeds club web site. |

The warriors' shields, are they supposed to be wood, leather, or covered with bronze? What colors did you use to paint them? |
RogerC | 06 Feb 2017 3:16 p.m. PST |
So they will mostly be leather over wood, with a very small number in bronze. They have concentric circles and there are quite a lot of example from archaeology, apparatnly they could use the same moulds for bronze and leather. Painted a dark chocolate brown then dry brushed with leather brown or a bronze with a bit of brown mixed in so not too shiny. |

Certainly my favourite of the day. Good to see some younger wargamers enjoying this one as well. The Colonel |

Can someone explain what a "demo" game is? Being a North American gamer the term is foreign to me. |
RogerC | 07 Feb 2017 3:57 p.m. PST |
A participation game is where people can wonder up sit down and join in the game, learn the rule etc. A demo game is where we set it up and play it, talking to the visitors but they don't get to push the figures around the board. We did actually get 2 or 3 people to play the game who were interested but I was a bit averse to being used as a baby sitting service which can sometimes happen with participation games. |

Lovely. A real inspiration. How big of table did you play on? |
RogerC | 09 Feb 2017 10:27 a.m. PST |
cheers, table was 6 feet by 4 feet, but we only really used 4 feet by 3 feet to play on, rest was just eye candy. |
