I have uploaded a picture to show how upcoming range will fit in with Foundry.
The figures go really with Foundry and have marginally more heft. The sculpts are terrific and will paint up really well. They will provide even more variety to your armies making it a great time to game this period.
My fingers are crossed for a Sea People type or two. There will be chariots too.

Very Nice. I have been considering his period.

They are nice, but I'm seriously considering selling off my bigger minis, Foundry, Redoubt, etc., and going with Cutting Edge for all my Trojan War stuff.

colin, when are the Eureka figures due?

OneHuaiTicket are the Cutting Edge figures smaller than the Foundry and Redoubt figures?

I have a large Trojan War collection of Foundry and Redoubt but like to add new units from new ranges that come out as long as they are compatible.

They are as tall, but the proportions are much more realistic, none of the giant heads and hands, and they are considerably more slim. My armies are pretty large too, so it speaks volumes about just how lovely the Cutting Edge are that I'm considering getting rid of the old stuff. Really great stuff.

My favorite semi-mythic war. These are gonna cost me money!

Cutting Edge have fantastic sculpts but will not match Foundry and these upcoming Eureka. Carefully arranged, a Cutting Edge model or 2 could be blended in a unit.
Redoubt chariots are nice but oversize. I imagine Chariots from Cutting Edge could blend in quite nicely with Foundry but not Redoubt. Newline Designs are also very nice to bulk out forces (nice Chariots).
The Eureka range will be out in summer I imagine unless buying pre release samples. Chariots will be included. I have also seen a dendra armour type with horn helmet like Sea People. Sculpts provide many alternative types/sculpts from current ranges to spice up the armies.

Any news from Eureka on when these will be released? There is zip, nada, nothing about these on the website?

colin knight14 Mar 2017 8:48 a.m. PST

No news yet. Looking like after Salute now. More sculpts were being finished off.

So, it being "after Salute now." Any news NOW?

The figures are still being sculpted. Coming together well. Can't say when released though. May be another few months for whole range. Samples are available to buy now via contacting Eureka

Colin -- thanks! I'll contact Nic and see what he might do for me.

So, the word from Nic is the figures are coming along, and he's working on a "rail chariot!" Not sure anyone else makes one of those, so that will be very welcome.
