I was charged with reporting the death of George Garifo to the larger gaming public. George was an avid gamer. He was a major part of the Del-Val gamers and website. He was a long standing member of HMGS. He attended their conventions faithfully. George also was quite the TMP poster as well. His handle escapes me at the moment. He was rather educated, and knew the black powder era inside and out. He could categorically tell you any fact of the time. He also understood the Eastern Roman Empire quite well. He had a passing knowledge of the Norman conquest. George also was bi-lingual. He learned Gaelic and sang in a band. George was 62 years old. We nick named him the "Prussian". Anyone who suffered the rolls of his Panzer Lehr Dice would remember George. Anyone interested in details of his burial please contact me privately. I will reach you tonight.

Always a sad day when we loose not only a fellow gamer but a historian as well.

We buried him today. Well attended by regional gamers. Turned into a mini-con of sorts. He would have loved it.

My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
