To anyone who has tried this does it look ok on the table? I have a 15mm resin house that looks so small on my table and next to my 15mm figs. Just doesn't look right. |

They work fine with HO scale railroad buildings, which are frequently undersized too. |

It depends on the size of the "15mm" figures. Are they actually 18mm or smaller older ranges of 15's? I have always preferred using smaller scale buildings with my 15mm. When playing at a 1:30 figure ratio, a large true scale building is the equivalent of a modern warehouse in size. The foot print is too large. In fact most of our customers have seemed to prefer smaller scales of buildings for 15's over the years. Now if you are doing more skirmish type gaming then that is another story….. |

I'd do it the other way around (20mm figures with 15mm terrain -works better to have buildings closer to the ground scale than to figure scale) That way you also need to spend less money on the buildings. |

I do the same as Lonkka1 – especially for big battles – always seems a bit mad to be able to hide an entire brigade behind a farmhouse. |

I am also in the "other way" crowd – I tend to use smaller buildings for the same reasons cited above |

Good to know I'm thinking of going the paper building route. I can always re-size it to my own tastes. Thought about going 20mm mini's, but I just like the 15mm stuff too much to give that up :) |
