I am still able to see many postings, just before midnight here, tonight, but don't know about yours, specifically.

I'm guessing tomorrow may be a different story again.

In the individual boards, the messages still seem to exist, but for some reason, the Main Message Board page seems to be affected.

Interesting times, and helps us to better appreciate TMP when it does indeed work well, I suspect.

Perhaps it is time to bite the bullet Bill and change to another format entirely?

No disrespect, and I know I couldn't do it, but perhaps revamping the original structure of TMP is too much weight for it to carry?

You might lose some functions, you might lose the old posts, but at a the moment the current problems are making front end access to those things unattractive at best and must be costing new visitors at least. Having a great past is no help now if people can't access it.

Thought the attempt at a rebuild was worth it myself but if it doesn't work – time for hard decisions.

I want to see TMP flourish, but currently the problems seem to be multiplying. Any of those other avenues you explored look 'nearly' right? If so go for them.

With all due respect until we receive further clarification from the author himself we shouldn't repeatedly spread rumours that John Treadaway has lost the postings on the front page. The ones he did yesterday that allegedly all vanished from the front page and are also gone from their own section.

Repeatedly making these statements that John Treadaway has from the front page lost certain postings on the front page (the ones he did yesterday) help only to spread what mounts to little more than idle gossip.

Alternate facts, people. It's all just alternate facts. However, there is a rumor that John is launching an investigation to prove he lost more posts than ACWBill.

This is terrible news!

The posts I made yesterday afternoon (4 of them to do with asking if clubs would like to appear in the Club Spot of Miniature Wargames ALL disappeared from the front page.

Three of them remain in their respective areas (one has vanished entirely) but three are still there but not on the front page. This is the original ppsting

And while you're at it, why not do a 'Club Spot' featuring the regulars of TMP? It is, after all, the largest wargames 'club' in the world, albeit a virtual one, and would demonstrate how the Internet has changed our hobby.

The key issue in the upcoming FencePost Apocalypse game will be the protection or destruction of fence infrastructure. I have a number of raid scenarios on fields and livestock from, so I might push it out to a campaign, with this as the first mile post.

The most anticipated war game event of all time: The FencePost Apocalypse means simply no hind quarters given, No neutrals in this war; no sitting on the fence; Just a battle cry "Once more unto the fence dear friends, once more…"
