For those that may be interested in the Crimean War I have started a gofundme project titled: Crimean War Project. The goal is to raise the funds to put together the troops and terrain to run the major battles of the Crimean War. The games will be run at some local Midwest conventions. If enough funds are raised I plan on contacting Blue Moon and asking them to produce a line of figures.

I assume you are talking about 15 mm figures?

I give you credit for an inventive way to fund your own project. Let me know how it goes, I may start up a gofundme for my next project too, maybe another to buy me a new car or a beach house.

Why start a new range? Why not buy figurrs that are already in production?

Yes the line would be 15/18mm

Why start a new range…..probably for the same reasons why so many others have done so.

I want to make certain I have this correct…we support your project, that might result in Blue Moon making a range, and then we have the privilege of ordering those figures if and when they are produced? So, unlike a Kickstarter, where I give some money and get some stuff while supporting a new range to be developed, here I just give money then have to spend more money to buy stuff?

Dude, it is a great idea if folks buy in! Best of luck on that!!!

The plan is pretty simple, to have a nice range of miniatures sculpted and available for those that would like to play the period. To also have the range completed when available so there is no need to have to wait years to have everything available. If no one joins in then nothing happens.
