It breaks from the horizontal tradition but I like it.

I assume that gun drones follow the ground closely and flit from cover to cover. In that case, the guns and sensors should be on top, so that the drone can peek over the top of an obstruction and shoot without exposing much of itself. Neither this version nor the older version with the guns under the body allows the drone to use cover.

It has a cloak generator.

Besides with that armament, stealth is lost with the first shot fired.

It looks designed to shoot around corners of doors and buildings rather well.

It also has some hefty flank protection, as it is unlikely some one will shoot at it from above (maybe, occasionally) or from below (darn rat men).

It would be cool to see the discs and guns lift upwards like wings, allowing it to scatter its fire from behind cover.

I actually wander if its not a catering drone that shoots hot dogs!
