I'm looking around for a C-47 Skytrain model kit, but can't seem to find one anywhere other than on Ebay. I'm usually pretty confident in my purchases, especially when they have good reviews, ect. but all that are on there at this point in time seem "too good to be true". Does anyone know of a reliable shipper on Ebay or a place to get one off Ebay? Thanks |

Hobby Lobby carries a 1:48 one (Monogram, I think). Get a 40% off coupon from their website before going! |

Monogram and Trumpeter make the C-47 in 1/48th scale. The Monogram kit has been produced in several iterations, the C47, DC-3 and the AC-47 gunship. Airfix and Italeri make the C-47 in 1/72nd scale, the Airfix is a new mold and very nice but there are probably some old mold Airfix kits hanging around on evil bay. |
