In 1472-74 there were 1200 lances of the ordonnance in 12 companies of 100 lances each. See for example link and link

Interesting links Gurkhan. With several different types of soldier within a lance, how were they organised to fight on the battlefield?

My understanding of "lances" is that when arrayed they went to a "unit" of their type. But I suspect that uniformity here was never a fact: some commanders must have experimented with mixed units, e.g. the "shot" mixed with guisarmses. For centuries, MAAs had been dismounting to "stiffen" ordinary infantry, especially in England. Adding "shot" to the mix was natural. But later armies were tending to organize by weapon type, then array in support of each other.

Actually, according to the source I checked, there were in total 27 ordinance companies founded, up to year 1476.

I have no idea what place you checked, but my source is the booklet "Burgundian Army of Charles The Bold – the Ordonnance Companies and Their Captains".

I bought by copy from Vexillia, who still has them in stock:
