A really kicking power metal album about Napoleons 100 days.

LInks to specific track time stamps in the song description.

If you're in doubt about where to start, I suggest Hougoumont but they're all fantastic.

(If you aren't a metal-head, think of power metal as more up-tempo heavy rock with soaring vocals)

Love Crystallion…Hattin is a killer album too!

Yeah, I have a huge soft spot for euro-"flower-metal" so this was right up my alley.

I'll check out the rest of their catalogue.

Any other metal bands out there that do this?

Napoleon specifically?

Running Wild had a "Waterloo" song which is quite decent.
Iced Earth has one as well on "The Glorious Burden" which is fantastic.
That album also has an excellent 3 song rendition of Gettysburg.

"King of Rome" is another 100 days album. It's a little bit weaker since it was just 2 guys making music together, but it does have a lot of heart and charm, I think.
