Does anyone know if the line will ever be back in production?

Hussar12326 Jan 2017 12:40 p.m. PST

What did they do in 1/600?

ACWBill27 Jan 2017 6:07 a.m. PST

I wonder if you mean Bay Area Yards? I never knew TCS to make anything in 1/600 scale.

Hussar12327 Jan 2017 9:43 a.m. PST

No, I do mean TCS.

They made:
1850-70s cutter-gunboat, Fancy Riverboat, Sunken Fancy Riverboat, Sunken side wheeler and 2 gun earth and wood shore fort.

It is on this website under the old NAVAL:

Does anyone know why they went OOP and haven't returned?

Hussar12328 Jan 2017 1:09 p.m. PST

I do know TCS was sold but the 1/600 ACW was not included.

I don't know what forced TCS to shut down. The scuttlebutt at the time was they were shuttering and selling out to another group that was also going to have the same alphabet soup "TCS" but the name would be Tabletop Conflict Systems instead of Tactical Conflict Systems. The newer TCS set up a website with stock lists and clicker Add to Cart buttons, but they all lead to dead ends. The site is still up, unchanged, since 2006. (See TMP Old Miniatures Directory.) The website contact list leads to Paul Trani, who, assuming it's the same guy, is active in HMGS east coast. I think he's the current president. There are links to reach him on the HMGS website. If you were curious you might wanna…

KPinder ur right sorry any confusion!

Poniatowski24 Mar 2017 7:51 a.m. PST

TCS is currently owned by Paul Trani In NJ. He bought the company from Leo Walsh a long while ago now….

He is not up and running as a regular business, but he intends to be.

I see a lot of folks copying Leo's old product/making their own molds… not cool. If you would like stock form the line, contact Paul direct, his information should be on the page here.

Hussar123 – you need one of these models? I can root through the fleet and see what I have. Or are you just looking for pictures?
