I'm wanting to create both comic book and battle maneuver images out of the photos I use in my blog. At a minimum, I need an app that can give me arrows, lines, explosions or comic-book style "BOOM" elements to add to the photo images so I can show the directions of movement and maneuvering and the effects of shooting, artillery, combat, etc… Obviously, I need to be able to tweak the angles and sizes of these elements as necessary to match the images and the action I'm trying to convey. My goal is to be able to make both comic-book story-telling panels and individual stand alone images as well. I use Google's Blogger as my blogging platform. Any recommendations? Also, price is definitely an issue, though I realize that "you get what you pay for" is an inescapable truth of life.
