Somewhere between 70 to 100 1/285 and 1/300 scale aircraft are planning to fly in our 3rd BIG Battle of Britain air game here: link You will see four Luftwaffe assembly and mission areas and as many for Fighter Command. The story is told by very briefly captioned photos showing three tables. One is northern France. Two others reveal the English coast and a third deeper inland. Blog posts after this one offer more explanation of how the game operates --- again with briefly captioned photos of aircraft and terrain. This has been made possible only by the cooperation and interest of more than a dozen regional gamers pooling their aircraft and buildings. You can do this too. Never say never. Respectfully, Bill P. I played in one of these last year and it was a lot of fun. Even more aircraft involved now in this upcoming one, should be a cool spectacle. |
