I am beginning to use a set of rules that uses slightly larger armies than the one that I built armies for previously. My mid to late Bronze Age (Urnfield or similar) North European Army used Falcon figures. Unfortunately, I understand that Falcon figures are very difficult to obtain now, particularly for people outside the USA. One probable source of additions is MY Miniatures. Has anyone got any other ideas about places for getting a few re-enforcements from? Thank you in anticipation. |

Falcon seems to have dropped off the map nearly completely – some sort of Ebay presence last I checked. Otherwise, my first thought was Mick Yarrow. Had some correspondence with him but due to other events haven't ordered from him yet. Still planning on it. He has added quite a few pictures on his site and the Bronze Age figures look good. |

Thanks for your reply, goragrad. I have some of his figures, for instance the Early Bronze Age (mainly archers), the Early Iron Age, and Middle Kingdom Egyptians. He (Mick Yarrow at MY Miniatures) has 2 websites, one with a cart for ordering, one with pictures and interesting little details such as what weapons the figures of a pack wield. |

I always wanted to collect some small armies for this period in 15mm, but there aren't many options. Only two that I have seen are the Falcon and MY miniatures. Falcon is practically a ghost, luckily Mick has excellent customer service. |

Yes, Mick at MY Miniatures isn't bad. When I lived in the UK, I used to see him at shows and buy armies from him there. On the whole, I am pleased with most of his products, although they are not a perfect match for Falcon. I do admit that the air turned blue around my work-bench when I opened an Early Anglo-Saxon DBA army that didn't have shields, though. |

Kai of Falcon has had some massive health problems. Once those have cleared up, he's told me he'll be back up and running. MY figures have a certain 'character' that doesn't appeal to everyone. Personally, I've found that once they're painted up, they look good, though in bare metal they appear to be a bit 'rough' (I guess that's the best term). |

Thank you for the information about the gentleman running Falcon Miniatures. Sorry to hear about his health problems. I hope that his health improves. Luckily for me, I think that I managed to sort out this army using a small number of unused figures and a few transfers from an army that used MY Miniatures figures. If Falcon Miniatures did manage to get up and running properly, I would certainly consider buying some more of their figures, though. |

Also sorry to hear about Kai. Also hoping he regains his health soon. And better than before. And his figure range, had some really nice stuff too. Another vote for MY minis. Always had excellent service and figures no-one else covers.
