Results of Battle for the Iron Throne held at Siege of Augusta on January 14th, 2017

David Crenshaw now sits the Iron Throne as Stannis Baratheon.

Various pretenders and their allies:

Jerry Mays – House Stark
Thomas E. Thomas – House Greyjoy
Erik Haygood – the Wildlings
Ryan Ash – House Martel
Jacob Haygood – House Targaryen
Ben Haygood – House Lannister
Bruce Boyd – House Tully

It took three battles to finally defeat all pretenders but in the end Stannis aided greatly by Melisandra prevailed. We expanded to eight houses for this event as some players had their own armies but again I had to turn players away due to lack of armies. Keep in mind that if you bring your own army you are guaranteed a chance for the throne. A Game of Fire and Ice contains information on which figures to use and some painting and heraldic information for each house. Feel free to create your own house.

The Iron Throne will be contested again at NashCon (May 27, 2017) where David Crenshaw as King Stannis will defend his crown. (We have to address him as Your Grace till then. I promise not to forget the Mead for NashCon.)

Representing the old and the new gods: Thomas J. Thomas
Played using A Game of Fire and Ice in 28mm.

National Cup Points
David is awarded 7 points toward the National Cup for winning the Iron Throne against 7 pretenders.
Each of the pretenders (now executed) get 1 point for trying.

Regional/Club Points
Mid-South is awarded 8 points for hosting a tournament/Big Battle event.
