I decided to stay within the timeline and move our game for tonight to the frontier of Egypt of the 5th century AD.

The game will address plunder and its transport back home. Also, Nobades forces were organized by clans and these will have similar characteristics as the "allied contingent" in the rule book.

Report of the campaign and evaluation should appear tomorrow or Friday.

Looking forward to your campaign rules when they are finished. We play a lot of small, quick DBA games in our club and the idea of linking several in a mini-campaign sounds interesting.

The basic set is available for download at the Fanaticus Wiki.

This will provide the "nut n' bolts" to run a campaign, but you will still need to design your own map and provide counters.

We played "Thebais" last night and finished the campaign which lasted eight months and involved three battles; completed in 2 1/2 hours.

Full report will be posted tomorrow.
