I have read a few reports of SP battles and am wondering whether They would be suitable for my 1745 Jacobite Rising project? Has anyone tried them for this period or have any comments regarding suitability please? Thanks |

Perfectly suitable. There has been discussion about the best way to handle clansmen on the forum, though no 'official' list as far as I know. There are certainly enough variants within troop types to accommodate them, and the possibility of specific rules if you feel they are needed. |

I have a number of 1745 figures in 54mm, given that SP would work for the period would they work for 54mm figures? Thanks |

Definitely works in 54mm, given a large enough table, with Clansmen typically in groups of 12 figures and Regulars in 8's One period still on my 'to do' list for SP, albeit in 15mm (with a base of 3-4 figures replacing a single 28mm) or 28mm 'as written' |

Thanks for that sjwalker38… I shall give it a go. You've also sparked a thought about using 15mm Cheers 👍 |

IIRC, there are some very well developed draft lists for the '45 included in the forum threads mentioned. Be sure to post some photos here and on the TFL forum! |
