I'm going to be running a demo game of the new Warhammer Quest at Phantom of the Attic in Pittsburgh on Sunday Jan. 22nd starting at noon.

picture

The game is open to anyone and we will be teaching the rules. You don't need to bring anything to play, all the figures will be there and we will have everything else you will need.

In the game you take the part of a hero who is venturing into the Silver Tower to complete a quest. On the way you are likely to find all sorts of gribblies that try to bar your way and really intend no good for you at all.

Fortunately your hero is pretty tough but is he tough enough?

He certainly thinks he is:

If you would like to play all you have to do is show up. Phantom of the Attic is in the Oakland part of Pittsburgh on South Craig street which is opposite the parking lot for the Carnegie Museums of Natural History and Art.

Parking is free on Sundays so come on down and have a good time.

Sadly I live on the other side of the big pond, but this looks pretty good.

Since you are the prime authority here on all things AoS maybe you can help me: I'd like to buy some of the new Tzeentch beastmen, but are they compatible with my big reserves of plastic beastman to make a truly magnificent Chaos horde?

Pictors Studio22 Jan 2017 7:22 p.m. PST

Yes they are.

If you mean by size and style they fit in great. I'm planning on using mine in two ways:

Allies for my Aconite Tzeentch army. Like a slathering horde of Tzaangors showed up following a powerful mortal hero.

Then as a faction within my Beastmen horde. There will be a Tzeentch shaman there and they will follow behind him as a detachment within the greater Beastman brayherd.

If they start making beastmen of the other flavours again I'll be getting them too.

Thank you! That's exactly what I'm hoping for more specific beastmen, too!

I think I need that new WH Quest.
