I wouldn't put too much baggage over the rear engine deck unless you want your Chieftains getting really hot in that desert sun.

Not that they ever overheated mind…

The stowage is "inspired" from period photos, admittedly the stowage on the one nearest the camera has moved forward slightly and should be more over the rear box ( yes, I know there's exhausts there as well!)

Wait until I put the sandbags on the turret!!!!!

I'm not sure there's much market for ME style chieftain stowage! BRitish Chieftains are a bit more organised! BUt will knock some more conservative loads for the baskets for you when I start the next batch. ( they can go with the smoke dischargers!)

For the smoke dischargers there are spare sets in the TY Abrams kit
