Hi Disposalman,

I used to wear the same RE BD badge which you use as your icon.

If it is uniform information which you are after, I have a copy of Jose Maria Bueno Carrera's book Uniformes Espanoles de la Guerra de Independencia.

There is a plate contains three pictures of Engineers, an officer in the 1809 uniform, another officer in the 1813 uniform and a Sapper in his field uniform, which includes an apron a little like British Pioneers or French Sappeurs.

I can give you more detail if it is helpful.

Hello Rod
I had the opportunity to do some research today through the Osprey books and also the Internet. I may have located the same pictures that you are listing. I will look into all the information I have now and advise.

I also wore the badge I use as my icon. Membership of REBDOC confirms this.

Regards
Tom
