Looking for information on Spanish Sapper Unit. Have some info: on Engineer Corp officers but it the Sappers I am seeking. Thanks |

Hi Disposalman, I used to wear the same RE BD badge which you use as your icon. If it is uniform information which you are after, I have a copy of Jose Maria Bueno Carrera's book Uniformes Espanoles de la Guerra de Independencia. There is a plate contains three pictures of Engineers, an officer in the 1809 uniform, another officer in the 1813 uniform and a Sapper in his field uniform, which includes an apron a little like British Pioneers or French Sappeurs. Hello Rod I had the opportunity to do some research today through the Osprey books and also the Internet. I may have located the same pictures that you are listing.
