Well, back in print as a PDF anyway. It's the 3rd edition, 7th printing. Sorry. No Balrogs or Hobbits.

Come get it here. link

Well – that's very affordable (unlike original print copies !)

Nice to see it back.

Wow!

And still the same price I paid for it 40 years ago!

Sucks for those people trying to sell their copies for several hundred dollars, I suspect.

It's a tragedy – although there'll surely always be a collector who'll pay top dollar ?

This PDF – and other similar ones bringing back long lost never to be republished rulesets – is great for gamers.

Chainmail was the last piece of the PDF product puzzle to complete the Original D&D game. All the other booklets are available in PDF from WOTC. This is a great look at the genesis of the RPG.

I still have my original as well. Wonder what they're going for?

Zargon11 Jan 2017 7:05 a.m. PST

$4.99 USD plus postage Dn J.

I don't think know of costs of originals.
Got mine for 50 cents.
Scored at a flea market.
Balrogs and dragons included. :-)
