I already have large German FPW and APW forces but may be getting some spares Baccus 6mm Germans. What options exist for these figures?

I did paint some as 1914 Germans and they looked okay.

Some WW1 reservists were issued with older kit, probably not as old as 1870, but may have been similar in appearance.

Depends what you mean by large, can you field all of the Prussian Corps?

Tally Ho!

Given that they are 6mm and not in full kit, they work fine as WWI, IMO.

I am thinking anything NOT German ,,,,

If you want something completely different, there are two other armies that wore Prussian style uniforms and pickelhaube in the late 19th century:
– The Duch of Parma
– Chile
You may have to dream up your own wars for them to fight in mind….

On a separate note, GildasFacit – I have lost where I saw the picture, but to your point on German reservists in 1914, not only were there a lot of Landwehr troops in the old pre 1910 blue uniform on the Eastern Front in 1914, but I actually saw a photo of some in a tall, straight shako (not the Jagerhelm) that looked remarkably like the one used by Prussian reserve troops in 1814! (Many of the reserve uniforms were supplied by Britain – in this case from spare stocks originally intended for the Portuguese army in the Peninsula)
The military have always been great hoarders……

Sorry, should have said reserve uniforms for the Prussian army in 1814 – not 1914!
