So to kick of the new year I've decided to build a 4x4foot city fight gaming board for my on going 40K project. Thought I'd share my progress so far here.

More info and pictures on my blog for those interested here

I'm using mainly laser cut MDF for this project. Mostly from a company called TTcombat

ttcombat.com

I'm using this gaming board from TT combat as the basis for my board

Here is a picture of my progress on the first eight 1x1 foot tiles

and a couple of shots of the first tile I finished up last night

Just another 15 tiles to go:)

Looks great. I'm working on a similar project myself. I hope mine looks as good when I'm done.

Need far more terrain than what I am seeing.

Far to open to be a city battle.

Very cool. Loving the ruined truck. Is it a permanent fixture or can it be removed?

Mithmee@ very early days yet mate I only started last weekend I plan to make plenty of scatter terrain but I want some open areas to.

Ordinarybass@ thanks. no the truck is permanent like the ruined buildings will be.

Superb article thank you, I really enjoyed popping onto your blog and looking at the project from the beginning, very inspirational and full of useful information for someone wanting to re-create any or all of this project.
