I finished the new ironclads and commissioned them into the respective fleets. It stuck me that I should inspect the models to be sure that they were all in fighting trim so I lined up both fleets on the table and snapped a couple of photos.

As always, comments, suggestion and criticism are welcome

"Now all I have to do is stat out the new models, balance the stats of the two fleets and put together a scenario. All in two weeks."

Piece of cake; the hard part is steeling yourself for the whine of the losers as to the quality of balancing… ;->=

Will those steamers make an appearance? I've love seeing the unarmed trying to make like shadows on the waves.

Nice stuff. First mission: sale upriver and bombard the Whitehead torpedo factory.

and pray tell, what rules would you be using for these outstanding ships, sir????

Anton Ryzbak10 Jan 2017 2:20 p.m. PST

A set of my own devising, they have recently been revamped and a getting to the point where I am likely to publish them on my blog.

If you can make it to Lansing on 21JAN17 you can see them in action and get a free copy.

In my dreams, and your blog… ;->=

However, retirement is about to hit me in the face, and here's hoping to a future that has some travel to interesting games!

Lansing, MI? Dare I ask if you're from the area? Either way, impressive modeling there sir. Looks like they could be a lot of fun.

I'm from the north side of Metro Detroit, so I guess it matter what you define as an "area", a long hour's drive from Lansing
