YouTube link Part 1, there's four in total. Russian language, English subtitles. Subtitles are…decent, a bit awkward at times but perfectly understandable. I haven't watched that much yet, so I have no idea how biased it might be, if at all. Lots of re-enactor types stomping around, which is always fun, plus some CGI. If you watched the Soviet Storm documentary series, the visual style is very similar. |

Done 2nd part, liking the computer graphics and actors. Starting to look at uniform detail and equipment. Sad part is I have to read it so can't paint while listening. Good part is trying to pick up Russian pronunciation. |

Yeah, I had wanted to listen it while working on some text but that didn't work out, but as you say, good chance to pick up how those towns are pronounced. |
