I already have the foot arabs and I'm planning on ordering the arab light cavalry. The foot have what appears to be a recurved bow of sorts, but the cavalry has what appears to be a straighter bow more like a long bow. Knowing that GB likes to use the same heads, shields, and arms in multiple sets, why are the mounted bows different?

Druzhina would know. I do not.

What century(s) are these for?
Ancient arab cavalry used some bows mounted, medieval arab cavalry generally did not.

They would be mid crusades. I'm putting them up against the Fireforge mounted knights. Thanks for all the references, you gave me a ton to look at. TIG
