"What are you painting this first weekend in 2017?" Topic

Now that our nightmare plumbing issue is over with, my wonderful wife (Gawd bless her!), and I are relaxing at the house.
She is doing her knitting, and watching her Robin Hood Series, and I am painting figures.

I've just finished the Foundry/Casting Room Gentlemans Hunting Party, and am working on approx 10 more pulp/19th Century figures.

Trying to set a goal for myself that when I paint on weekends, to try to paint 10 figures a day.

So what's your painting project this first weekend of 2017?

I have Foundry ACW Zouaves to paint. Hopefully I will get to them some time tomorrow. It will be toward completing a unit for my Union army. Then on to paint some Louisianna Tigers for the Confederate army.

15mm tanks for Girls und Panzer — running first convention games of the season next weekend!

AWI British, 40 done this weekend so far.

Finished 16 Copplestone British Naval Party, 2 Old Glory Maxim guns, and 2 Old Glory 12lb guns for my Dark Africa campaign this week.

Next week probably won't get much done but the week following I will be starting to complete my 15mm Spanish Napoleonic army.

If I get these finished, some Conan figures tomorrow.

Have a half battery of Russian Napoleoics 15mm (1st Position) that has a wheel missing on a licorne. So to get it back up and firing they needed a gyn to pick it up to get the wheel on. So scratch building a gyn for them. (Shows what a nice guy I am) Trying to thread the spool, took thread and weaved 3 together to make a rope.

Bc1745 that is a good looking figure.

I'm doing bases on some Vikings, while painting about 15 28mm Egyptians. Most of the Egyptians are Dark Fable, while a few are from Reaper.

Last year I was able to paint only about a half a dozen times, so I am trying to do much better this year. This weekend I worked on some 28mm miniatures from West Winds' Cowboy Wars range and some from West Winds Gothic Horror Range. I also cleaned and primed some 28mm World War I Turks, and some 28mm Spanish Civil War figures. My goal is to paint (or work on miniatures in other ways) one night each week this year.

A 15mm model of an English country pub that my wife started making 25 years ago. Just got it finished :) Oh and some Morane Saulnier BBs for Wings of Glory

I painted up some Calpe Prussians before Christmas and am now finishing the bases, 36 Reserve infantry, 25 landwher cavalry and 6 hussars.

I have to put this project on hold as I am going to build trenches for my Vimy Ridge project. It's the 100 anniversary this year and I want to do a portion of the battle at our local cons, Salute and Enfilade.
