GMT's War Galley rules have a lot going for them, especially if you've laboriously hexed out your seascape to play a miniatures game using them. Unfortunately, the only time we tried them the squadron activation sequence sent most of us potty and the rules were put back on the top shelf to gather dust. I got them down again earlier this week for one more try, using an amended activation sequence and a couple of other new rules. They worked! Next week we'll give re-vamped War Galley a proper run through. Report and amendments: link

Beautifully done. I have opposing fleets in 15mm but they pale in comparison to the gorgeous work you've done. |

Looks great, especially the sinking ship. Is it just me that it makes me want to dress up in a bronze coloured outfit, stand over your table, pick up a couple of ships and pretend I'm Talos…? OK – it's just me then… John T |

I love Xyston stuff, I need to quit procrastinating and paint up my fleets. |

Now you're cookin'! Please consider writing up your changes in a way that others of us could try out. You're not the only one looking for a rewarding way to play with big galley fleets. :-) - Ix |
