We've got 15mm and 28mm already. 20mm has the Guild. Otherwise we have blogs and are fairly limited. It would be nice to have a place to specifically post scale comparisons and resources here on TMP. There is a lot of hot 20mm modern action going on out there. I'd like to see if I can stir some growth in other genres like scifi and fantasy. Props to the Cheap Fantasy Minis blog here: cheapfantasyminis.blogspot.com Beno's forum too. 54mm could use some love as well. The Penny Whistle: link …and ATKM are great resources but we are basically in the same boat as 20mm above. |

I am not aware of separate boards for 15mm or 28mm, so obviously I never use them. 98% of my figures are in 15mm or 28mm. Please note that the operative phrase for new boards in a poll is "would you suport" such a board. The bar is set very low for this support, and has nothing to do with "majority rule". All I mean is that since I have no use for such boards, I would not support them. Meaning I would not create or participate in threads on such boards. My negative vote in such a poll is irrelevant. Only positive bites count. |

Roger that. Was just curious. Some go for the too many boards approach. |

We do have the WW2 20mm Models Review board. As a 20 mm guy I would support a 20mm board. The fact that the Guild is a "20mm" forum should be of no consequence here. Having said all this the world will not end if there is no 20mm board. |

WOw, I hadn't noticed that 20mm board is missing. It is my favorite scale. 54mm board would probably be not as important but I can see the reasoning for it too. |

The 20mm board is still there under the WWII Land Boards. I play with both scales but don't see the need for additional boards. |

Definitely would like to see BOTH! Gaming in 54mm is rising in popularity rapidly, and 20mm is arguably the best supported single scale in the hobby--certainly as WWII is concerned. Having their own boards means serving a long, deeply established part of the hobby, and in the case of 54's could help promote a wonderful alternative for those wishing to spend less money and emphasize somewhat more intimate games. I'd love to see a 54mm board! |

The continued Salami Slicing of the hobby dismays me, I have to say. In the last 8 months I have played games in 15mm*, 28mm, 20mm, 1/35th, 1/10th, 1/300th (or was it 1/285th? 6mm or so, anyway) and that's just the ones I remember. I don't really want any boards based on size or scale. I'm not overly find pf boards based on period to be honest! John T * or 1/100th… |
