Love those paper figures…I may have to buy some. I'm guessing that the translation device used the term 'United nations' when what was really meant was 'United Kingdom'. If so, none of the British Isles countries 'joined' a United Kingdom. The UK as formed by a Treaty between England and Scotland half a century after the Wars of the Three Kingdoms were concluded.
