Are there any 15mm Cumans which mix well with Essex Cumans? I'm seeking some diversity in poses. |

I think the limiter is probably the horse rather than the rider and IMHO Essex horses are fairly distinctive. There are some other Essex figures which would work in the EMED range, such as one of the Hungarians. How about the new Magyars from QR miniatures?
linkThe hat looks reasonaly close to how Cumans are shown in various sources. I don't have this specific range, but others of their figures are a pretty good match for Essex and I don't think the horses are too different. Black Hat's are nice but the horses may be a touch too small to match. Old Glory's Cherniye Klobuki link would work for armoured Cumans- they have the face mask. |

I mixed in some of Irregulars HR 5 Asiatic light cavalry with mine. They illustrated on Irregulars web pages. |
