After about 55 years, I finally have my childhood toys back in my possession. I've been going through them and have been surprised what I've found. I don't remember getting a MARX "Jungle Jim" play-set for Christmas as a child, but I must have. As far as I can tell, quite a few of the pieces are there including the tin house, which I have read is one of the most rare of the MARX items.

Is there a site which could give me some idea of the value? I'd appreciate any information you could provide me with. Thanks – Hal

There is also the Marx Museum:

I know at least one TMPer deals in plastics, but I don't know if he deals in vintage playsets.

79th, thanks for posting that link to the Marx reseller. I had no idea there were so many different sets made. I would love to have that "untouchables "set; that must've gone for a fortune. I see he has the jungle Jim tin building for $125. USD One of my favorites was cape Canaveral with all the shooting rockets and spinning whirligigs. My wife got me a remake one year, when I got her a chatty Cathy.

Hi Hal, Go here. Probably the best site around for Marx playsets. You can use his sets as a guide to see what you have and what you are missing.
I'm very knowledgeable in Marx plastics, having collected them for 50 plus years. You can check Ebay for completed prices to get a true value of what you have.

This is the best plastic figures guide on the web:

And this is the magazine devoted to Marx and other plastic playsets and figures. I've written a couple of articles for them.
