link It's finally time to get back on track with my 2016 Project, which was going to be 28mm Crusades before I was nautically distracted. It is now, I promise, going to be the 2017 Project, definitely, without doubt, no wavering, honest guv etc etc. I have got boxes of the stuff primed for the Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge so hopefully that will get my forces upto a level were a decent sized game is possible. I've done one base of Cavalry, 1 base of Spearmen and a Missile armed base for both sides using Fireforge and Gripping Beast plastic ranges, pop on down to YG for a full report. Ken: Fireforge and Gripping Beast plastic ranges Thanks, I too have a number of these from the last few years. You have just reminded of the GB (& etc) plastics option which have emerged in recent years. Time to revisit the project, I believe! |

Thanks for posting. I enjoyed the read – great results. I completely empathise with your project imbalance – a particular issue for me. |

*Yarshire, I love your work. Ive always been a huge fan of the "knights in shinny armor" period and minis.
Unlucky General I completely empathise with your project imbalance – a particular issue for me. Lord I second that. Started building 'just' 2 imagination dark age armies. Then started a cpl of tank companys (US – Ger). for WL games Tank War in 15mm. Now debating on FF' Star Wars Armada. I enjoyed the demogame but found it to be a bit complex. The price is the biggest obsticle. If not enough, Ive started 'looking back' at my few completed & several unstarted GW LOTR minis. Im going in circles unable to focus on any One. IN short.. Nothing is ever getting Completed! I hope you the Best of Luck with your 2017 project Yarkshire Gamer. |
