Remembering Marx WOW Figures

If you were a kid in the 1960s who loved history and toy soldiers, you probably had a WOW figure!

I picked up a box of Perry plastic Foot Knights (1450-1500). Was looking for a good little set of rules to break the box in half and do a melee with 15-20 on a side. Any suggestions for something relatively historical but fun to play with an 11 year old?

You can check out Captains and Kings from Two Hour Wargames. It also includes rules for sieges.

Lion Rampant.

Small sized lion rampant retinues.

Use 12 pt or 18 pt retinues or just choose units that have 6 figures not 12 figures.

I think Lion Rampant would work just fine.

Thanks all. Just put an order in for Lion Rampant. Looking forward to trying them. I'll download Men at Arms as well. He is definitely prolific!

One of the three ought to feel like the right "level"

Just read through Lion Rampant – very nice! Thanks again.

Mine would also work, Sword and Dagger – which are free at link

Depends on what you want…do you want a medieval game or do you want Hollywood? If the former…best of luck. If the latter, Lion Rampant or pretty much anything else….though maybe not Rapid Fire or Antares.
