Whilst we know that Warlord Games are the 'official' producers of Doctor Who miniatures, this doesn't mean that if you want game the Whoniverse, you have to rely on their product alone – especially if you game in 28mm. Pay a visit to my blog for 'alternatives'. link |

Nice to see those alternates you pulled together in the face of the alliance of insuferability. |

The irony is that by publishing those alternatives on here, they may appear on the BBC radar now! 😉 |

I dont know the exact rules in the uk, but unless they are exact copies of an existing figure, material, colour, packaging, everything, I would doubt much can be done. I think its only the cost of going to court that puts companys off, not the fact they could lose. With the doc and companions they are just people not unique in look for the most part. Daleks on the other hand. Besides there also seems to be major scale differances. Some one should do 3mm not docs and see what happens. Think of the Marlek army! Ps crookeds 3rd spits all over what I have seen from warlord. I suggest warlord simply buys the ranges and keeps them available. If they stop the ranges you will only endup with boot legs being made and sold. Also their licence will end and their stuff will no longer be produced at some point anyway. Lotr anyone. |
