A friend tells me there is news going around to the effect that PSC (Plastic Soldier Company) will be releasing a T-55 model in plastic. I haven't been able to find any information on that. Does anyone have any information? Thanks.

If they did Cold War items like they've done WW2, I'll buy a lot.

Give me a plastic Centurion for the AIW, and I'll just mail them my wallet.

Just chatter on Facebook.

Since you typically need a few of them, I'd be all over plastic T55's for sure.

What The White Dog said. Plastic Sho't and T-55s and I'm in trouble!

Rrobbyrobot16 Dec 2016 7:56 p.m. PST

I sure do hope they do produce 'em.

It's not just chatter. It was confirmed by Timothy Harris on the Flames of War:Team Yankee Facebook site, 2017 release. Sounds like multiple versions including the "enigma" and GDR AM2.

great news, looks like our t55 avlb conversion will have a easily available t55 hull to stick it on soon.

Werwulf, the post was about T55s from PSC, not Battlefront. I'm sure Battlefront will be doing them sooner rather then later, but PSC?

Mako1117 Dec 2016 11:13 p.m. PST

Need some early, basic T-54s/T-55s in plastic.

@Gravett Islaner, sorry what post? This post? It clearly says 15mm PSC T-55. The one I mentioned on Facebook? Well as its a question I asked specifically about PSC doing 15mm T-55's and was answered by a member of the PSC team I think that pretty clear they weren't talking about Battlefront.

And there will be more info on the release hopefully by Friday on the PSC facebook page.

Are PSC a close match in size to Battlefront tanks? I'd love another T-55 option, but I am always wary of mixing manufacturers…

Lurch11927 Dec 2016 9:09 p.m. PST

PSC has officially announced plastic T-55s on their facebook. Link

Apologies Werwulf, I think I was mixing up the recent plastic T55 posts.
PSC's look good, may just tempt me into a Team Yankee East German force.
Seasons Greetings!

They look terrific! Is the painted example the East German variant?

I dont know first hand, but I have been told by gamers that 'played' FOW and now TY, that BF are a bit 'larger' than PSC.
