I wish I was into 28mm, I would have a battery of these. |

These are cute!! Doesn't someone else make some Napoleonic fantasy Amazon mounted dragoons or the like? I saw a picture of some charging figure just this past week here on TMP links someplace. |

I really did think….just for moment….at long last, we would get some sensible female civilian figures. Ball gowns, or peasant dress…….. The bearskin with a plate for artillery?….and no fringed epaulettes…….something missing in these uniforms (well, lots actually) |

I am with Deadhead here. These are fun figures and very nicely sculpted. However I would rather have seen the talent spent on camp followers, cantinieres, sutlers and other civilians of all nations. It seems odd that we are well provided with appropriate figures in 28mm for the 18th Century and the ACW but not so much for the Napoleopnic period (Front Rank being an honourable exception). I MAY buy these figures, but I would DEFINITELY buy them if they were more historical females. |

Not to mention the pair of 12 pounders……AnXI or Gribeauval?….confess I can never tell them apart. The 12pdrs I mean… |

They would certainly draw attention on a table. |

The sculpting looks amazing – do they make any "real" 28mm Napoleonics? I'd buy them in a flash. |

Nothing wrong with fun figures, especially nicely sculpted ones. If the uniforms were correct and poses, more sensible, I'd certainly buy a crew or two. As they stand now, it's just silliness. |

I am glad someone else used that word…."silliness". Just what struck me. Daft waste of talent. The kind of thing that can make girls feel that wargamers and modellers are slightly creepy. These are not 19th C women manning guns, they are 21st C porn stars in parodies of Napoleonic Uniform. In 1976 my chat up line was "come up to my room and see my Finnish aircraft collection". OK, I was no better…. I am already regretting posting this. I know the response will be to lighten up. Apologies. I should now delete while I still can…… |
