Firstly, I have no experience of the Berthier rules. I was wondering if it would be possible to use them for the detection process in submarine games? Surely these are the games in which hidden movement is supreme. Alan |

A WW2 convoy campaign game is all I have used Berthier for and it was very successful – several years ago now but it worked well for hidden movement and detection. We had a lot of fun recording the warship, cargo and submarine losses from the resultant table games. These days I prefer to use Mal Wright's Deadly Waters and Convoy system so I have not revisited Berthier. |
