"CinC/PFC !?!? " Topic

Anyone have any commo with Cinc/PFC ? Anyone buy anything from them lately ?

Ordered some 1/4800 ships back in August, but that's the most recent order for me. Took about two weeks from when I ordered, and never received a shipment notification. They just showed up!

I've had bad luck with commo with them, and orders that take so long that I become certain it will never arrive….but they always do. Excellent product and price, not so good service.

I have noticed that Wargames Emporium stocks are low on CinC miniatures with no Solar Marines.

They do not respond to e mails but I have ordered from them many times and I always get my figures, usually in about 30 days.

Ditto about slow to arrive orders. Sent them an email earlier this week as a TBF Avenger I ordered arrived minus the wings. Hopefully I'll get a replacement set of wings for it, but haven't heard a peep out of them.

I have ordered a fair number of times and always gotten the items in 30 days. It could be Randy is working mainly on the weekends filling the orders.

Yes, Randy's fulfillment time is slow. I find that I get an email response about 50% of the time. It is more likely if it has been weeks since the order was placed. Really good price, excellent casting quality, good variety. A number of the miniatures really are tiny models with lots of fiddly bits.

Well seems we finally did get an email. Thanks for all the replies guys. But it was months since we had heard and all email went unanswered until recently …

I ordered a bunch of the Solar Marine a few days ago. Took them like 4 days to take my money, and no reply to email. But this thread is heartening.

A lot of these smaller companies don't do the email thing very well. I'll take no response over the response I've gotten from some small companies for having the audacity to ask about an order I paid for.

Yes, as noted, CinC/PFC is v-e-r-y slow in doing any business. But as many have said, you'll get your stuff … eventually. I'm an e-friend of the SEM lines owner. So I usually get intel and more when new SEM is coming ad/or comes available first.

But sometimes both he and I are in "dead-zone" when it comes to replies/etc., directly from CinC/PFC … So we all just have to wait, it seems. Better late than never. But anyone who has anything to add about CinC/PFC please feel free to post here.

I think CinC/PFC is a good example of "Good things come to those who wait …"

Another situation I find is with Khurasan. He posted pics of 6mm Jasmine Throne aliens about a year or more ago. But still no joy. And he never replies to my e-mails.

Interesting about Khurasan, I ordered some vehicles from them to go with my Solar Marines and he sent me a nice email right away.

Got an email back from Randy today. So he is still out there filling orders and reading emails.

Khurasan must not like me … Ask him when he's going to release 6mm Jasmine Throne Aliens … But don't say I'm asking !

Received my order from Khurasan already. 8 days after I ordered them. Very impressive.

But they still have not released 6mm Jasmine Throne …

Don't hold your breath waiting on those. They might be released by the time mankind has a permanent base on Mars. Khurasan has a penchant for teasing cool things then never following through with releasing them. Still waiting on the not-S:AAB Chigs and the not-Soldier armored vehicle. Won't buy another thing from him until those are released.

That is the only thing I want from Khurasan … So yes, I won't be buying anything until 6mm Jasmine Throne is released, if ever. He even had a gent paint them up and post pics on Tac Cmd.

And as a sidebar it still amazes all the controversy, derision, vitriol, etc., that many comments generates … on a site about "adults(?)" playing with toys …

Got my CinC order today. Ordered it over the XMas break so I knew there would be a little delay. Took a bit over 3 weeks which isn't bad.

He did include a note that I assume he is putting in all orders now:

New weekly schedule:
Mon – pull orders
Tues – fill orders
Wed – production for orders
Thurs – production to build inventory
Fri to Sunday – design work and other misc work

Orders placed Monday by noon are shipped by next Monday provided there's no issues.

All this is paraphrased of course.

I have always had very good dealings with Randy, and his models are great.

Most recently I placed an order late on Friday January 27th for (27) AFV's and it shipped Saturday February 4th.

Never an issue with communication, and attentive to detail.

I and some of my buddies would like to buy some Khurasan 6mm Jasmine Throne. But for a few years now, they have not been released, as promised. And no answers to our emails … So I've got nothing to really say about Khurasan …either way.

And not really a fan of Scotia Grendel. But they are not bad for the price …

Ordered some stuff from them in early December and received it right before Christmas. They left a couple of items out but said they will make it right.

Ordered some more 1/4800 a week ago, so I'll let you know if/when they get here.
