May I respectfully point out to the nominators of the Mexican Revolution that it wasn't a colonial war. It is nice to see increasing interest in it, though :-). |

Santa, just drop off a dozen elves with decent painting skills for six or eight months (years!?) with a healthy supply of whatever elves eat and that'll save you the cost of the figures – I have them, they just need painting. (Indian Muting, FFL, Anglo-Egyptian Sudan, Boxer Rebellion, and my own Slightly Cracked Colonials somewhat along the lines of the age of exploration – where everyone got really, really lost! |

East Africa during WWI in 28mm – German Schutztruppe: a couple Feldkompagnien (used as platoons) for starters w/MGs, and an Officer contingent British: King's African Rifles with support as above, as a beginning collection force Santa could get these from Brigade Games (BG models) for me! I could press my Belgian Force Publique units in as an opposition force vs. these newly gifted Schutztruppe (for skirmishing in western East Africa), if Santa can't budget the KAR atm. |

Since it is Santa's elves at work and not a real miniatures company I'd have to say Maoris. I can't find them in 20mm/1:72. Everything else is out there more or less. |
