Very nice! Are the brigs from the sloop and corvette pack? |

Are the brigs from the sloop and corvette pack? No, they're not; I wouldn't publish a kit with so many incorrect details. They're noigrim's rather clever cut-down mods of the free 1:900 ship-of-the-line kit. As such, they're far too long on the keel, the mast spacing is off, they have too many guns and, along with his other mods, are sporting a lateen mizzen that went out of use in Western European navies about a quarter century before Trafalgar . . . but if he's happy with them, then they're just fine. His creative spirit is admirable. |

Yep they're edits of one of War Artisan's ships. I won't presume to compare them to his excellent designs and didn't research them at all (the frigate has what, 50 guns? and two bow guns where the cabin should be) they're just for presonal use. |

Of course I'm keeping my edits to myself and never publishing or sharing them. |

Seems like a lot of trouble to go to when the ships are so inexpensive. But yes, that was certainly creative. |
