Making a game mat for "Shattered Isles." This is a WarSword game, adapted for use with Black Hat Miniatures' range of 28mm fantasy figures. The game uses squares, and a 12 x 18 field is recommended. On a 4x6 mat that means 4" squares. Just perfect for the limit of 6 foot figures per square.

You can just make out the dark green dots that form the corners of each square.

I've been using the same marker for dots on hex corners on Geo-Hex pieces, adding a 4" hex overlay to the 12" hex pieces.

It seems visible when I want it to be, and I can ignore it at times, too. I'd like to try some square grid games.
