…they drag me back in.

Earlier in the year (just a few months ago!) I cleared the backlog of ACW models from the queue. Then came FAll In 2016 and a generous gift. Looks like the shipyard is going to be reopened!

Mr. Manley – I may yet overtake you for the title of largest 1/600 ACW naval collection! (Maybe.)

You will only be done when you can recreate both Union and Confederate navies on a 1 to 1 scale, including merchantmen and blockade runners. We'll let you slide on whalers.

Guess I'll need that third Minnesota class model after all.

Definitely brown water navy, that one.

You need at least two models of New Ironsides – with and without masts. I suppose you could do a third with the sails set…

I game ACW in 1/1200 because I am a cheap bastard. Thoroughbreds stuff is so nice. I must continue my resistance.

Wow, those are vintage. The Sassacus hasn't been $13.50 USD in decades.

Allen – Thoroughbred has a 1/1200 range now:

G Dog, I've just added another 10, with another three on the stocks…… :)

The race continues!

You guys make me feel so inadequate. I only have 110 painted and about 30 unpainted. All 1/600 scale.

"Only"

Don't sell yourself short – that's a large collection. I'd have to pull all mine out and count them again, but the numbers are in that vicinity.

Hussar12325 Dec 2016 8:14 p.m. PST

That makes me feel better, I just bought 5 more to keep up.
