A series of three games that'll test if a ragged band of Iron Hands can steal a frigate and escape the ambush laid own by the Warmaster.

Simple terrain, but effective.

30k has definitely become my favorite GW property. Nice to see some more of it infiltrating TMP!

Thanks both I've got an Isstvan III minicampaign in store for next year, either in January or February…

Agree feels like old school 40K goodness, argh! GW is sucking me in again.

30K is definitely a big step ahead for GW. Although I guess it is technically a step back.

There is a coherent storyline that is big enough that anything can happen in it. Most of what people want to play are Legion armies so the armies tend to have a good bit of similarity to them.

It even opens up a real possibility of trying it with a d10 system to allow for more granularity between different marine legions. With a d6 giving a WE a S5 is huge, on a d10 it is not so bad.

Twas the original setting for Epic or Space Marine as it was originally known back in 1990. It's a compelling campaign.
